Luis Pena, Jr.

Aransas Pass – Luis Pena, Jr. passed away on April 14, 2024.  He was 49.

Luis was born March 6, 1975 in Taft, Texas to Rosa (Longoria) and Luis Pena, Sr. He was a resident of Aransas Pass, Texas for 40 years. Luis loved music and spending time with his family, especially his only son Arturo. He loved to spend his down time flying drones, and building computers, but was passionate about his job as a sand blaster and painter for Kiewit. Luis was a wonderful father, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Luis is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Estella and Jose Longoria; paternal grandparents: Elvira and Gavino Pena.

Survivors include his son: Arturo Luis Pena from Aransas Pass, Texas; parents: Rosa and Luis Pena, Sr. from Aransas Pass, Texas; brothers: Stevan Pena and Gabriel Castillo (Coral), all from Aransas Pass, Texas; sisters: Elizabeth Pena (Juan) from Aransas Pass, Texas and Veronica Pena (Brian) from Baytown, Texas.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass, Texas. A Memorial Service will follow, 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
